This story is about Michael & Emma, a fun and energetic couple who like to hike, camp, and be outside. Colorado is definitely the right place for them!
These two are recently engaged AND reunited from a couple years of doing the whole long distance thing – you can tell they are SO HAPPY to be together in the same home and time zone! Though Emma is originally from Western CO, she lived on the East Coast up until a couple months ago, while Michael has been living in Colorado.
Michael revealed he has been doing the same couple hikes over and over again because he didn’t want to explore too much of Colorado without Emma by his side. Though I admit we all laughed about this, I also thought it was one of the sweetest things I had heard in awhile. Michael was waiting until Emma could be by his side for adventures.
Now that they’re together, they have plenty of time to see all of Colorado together. Including Panorama Point trail for their engagement session!
Panorama Point trail is one of my favorite hikes in the Front Range of Colorado. It’s only about a mile (all uphill tho) but you’re rewarded with a stunning vista of the foothills and setting sun.
Michael & Emma set the pace and we made the hike up to Panorama Point pretty quickly. They changed and we explored the top of the trail – climbing on the rocks, walking between the evergreens, enjoying the view and the sunset.
Our time on the mountain was filled with laughter and good vibes. Michael makes Emma laugh allll the time and is always quick to smile. I love seeing how happy these two made each other. They’re going to have such an uplifting and fun marriage!
Once the sun had set, it was time for us to head back the trail. It’s a pretty windy mountain road to get to the trailhead, so any daylight is helpful for the hike/drive back! Can’t wait for the next time I meet these two – maybe on a hike or even their elopement! 😉
